    CHEMISTRY, UNIVERSITY OF UTAH

    Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Experimental Inorganic, Analytical, or Physical Chemistry

    The Department of Chemistry at the University of Utah invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. We seek candidates working in one of the following areas:

    • Inorganic chemistry, with an emphasis on solid-state materials
    • Analytical chemistry, broadly defined
    • Experimental physical chemistry, with an emphasis on spectroscopy or interfaces

    Candidates with expertise in artificial intelligence and/or machine learning are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to develop a vigorous, internationally visible, and well-funded research program and should exemplify effective teaching and mentorship to both undergraduate and graduate students. A Ph.D. is required, and postdoctoral experience is highly desirable.

    For priority consideration, application materials should be uploaded by October 1st, 2026, in PDF format.
