OVERVIEW: Lincoln University (LU), a historically Black, regional, comprehensive, liberal arts university, is one of the 3 state-related institutions within the Pennsylvania Higher Education System. The university enrolls over 2,000 students, employs more than 100 full-time faculty members, and offers more than 30 undergraduate programs and selected graduate programs. JOB SUMMARY: Lincoln University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position (s) in General Health Science. The successful candidate will be a dynamic teacher of undergraduate students as well as a scholar with a dedicated research and publication agenda. The ideal candidate will show evidence of thoughtful intellectual engagement in general health science or a related health field. Candidates will be expected to teach (in-person) the equivalent of 20 credit hours each academic year. The successful candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree (ABD status will be considered if the candidate(s) is close to the defense date). WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a university campus environment. All classes are currently taught in person, and faculty are required to be present on campus to teach their courses.
