The Department of Management & Leadership in the C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston seeks qualified applicants for an Assistant Professor tenure-track position, starting in the Fall of 2027. We are interested in applicants with expertise in Human Resource Management/Organizational Behavior (HR/OB). This search is part of the University''s Presidential Frontier Faculty initiative, which is a university-wide interdisciplinary hiring campaign aimed at enhancing the UH research enterprise by integrating the strengths of existing faculty and infrastructure with strong early career new faculty hires. This is a joint appointment position, in which the hired applicant will hold a primary appointment in the Management & Leadership Department with a courtesy appointment in the Department of Psychology. All evaluation processes, including promotion and tenure, will be conducted in the Department of Management and Leadership.
We are specifically seeking applicants who have research interests in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to HR/OB and/or Leadership and AI. Existing and/or strong potential for excellence in both scholarly research and teaching will be crucial for the successful applicant.

The Department of Management & Leadership has successfully attracted excellent researchers and teachers at junior and senior levels.
