The Department of Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Neuropsychologist to join our growing and nationally recognized Neuropsychology Division at the rank of Assistant Professor.

We are looking for individuals with outstanding clinical training, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to academic medicine. Candidates with scholarly activity, research experience, and publications are encouraged to apply.

Position Highlights

The successful candidate will:

  • Serve as the supervising neuropsychologist for studies conducted through the renowned McKnight Brain Institute Center.

  • Provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for patients referred to the Department of Neurology and associated outpatient clinics.

  • Participate in a multidisciplinary neuropsychology outpatient practice serving a diverse patient population.

  • Collaborate with neurologists, neuroscientists, and other healthcare professionals within a leading academic medical center.

  • Supervise and mentor postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and trainees participating in the Neuropsychology Program.

  • Contribute to academic, educational, and research initiatives within the Department of Neurology.

Qualifications

  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Completion of at least two years of postdoctoral training in neuropsychology.

  • Eligibility for or current Florida licensure as a psychologist.

  • Strong background in neuropsychological assessment and clinical care.

  • Interest in teaching, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
