The Assistant Professor of Hospitality leads the administration, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Hospitality program. Teaching responsibilities include introductory and advanced undergraduate courses in Hospitality, Business, and Leadership, as well as general education courses as needed. This role oversees program assessment and develops curriculum proposals to strengthen quality, maintain industry relevance, and support student success. The faculty member also coordinates and supervises student cooperative education and internship experiences, helping students apply classroom learning in professional settings. Courses are delivered in a variety of formats.The nine-month full-time position is offered as either a non-tenure track or tenure-track position with a 24-credit annual teaching load. Applicants for the non-tenure track position must have a master's degree in hospitality or business and ten or more years of experience in a hospitality-related industry. A doctoral degree in hospitality, business, or a closely related field is required for tenure. Experience teaching at the undergraduate level is preferred.
