PURPOSE
Assistant Professor of Journalism

- Training in journalism, editing, broadcast, and podcast professions.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Personal Characteristics:
- Professional experience in broadcast journalism (both radio and television) and podcasting preferred.
- A record of scholarship and publication or evidence of a productive research agenda.
- Minimum of five years experience in professional podcasting preferred.
- M.A. in Journalism or Mass Communications required.
- Evidence of experience working with underprepared and diverse student population.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Light sedentary office work.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of standing/walking.
