The Machining/Manufacturing Assistant Professor is a skilled and motivated educator with expertise in both manual and CNC machining and design processes. This position involves delivering lecture and hands-on instruction for the Associate of Applied Science and Certificate of Completion programs in machining and manufacturing, as well as certifications and short-term training offerings. The instructor will collaborate with adjunct faculty and concurrent enrollment programs and maintain strong industry partnerships to ensure program relevance and student success.
Sheridan College instructors are expected to use learner-centered teaching methods, contribute to institutional committees, and foster a collegial and student-focused learning environment. Evening and weekend instruction may be required.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Hands‑on Machining Experience: 6 years
Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Machine Tool
Hands‑on Machining Experience: 4 years
Machine Tool Certificate
Hands‑on Machining Experience: 5 years
High School Diploma
Hands‑on Machining Experience: 12 years
