Position Summary
This position is primarily located in the Biltmore Park instructional site in Asheville, NC.
Western Carolina University seeks a Nurse Anesthetist to teach in the Nurse Anesthesia program in the School of Nursing, College of Health and Human Sciences. Anticipated begin date will depend on departmental need and availability of the candidate. This is a full-time (1 FTE), 12 month, fixed-term appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor of Practice. The ideal candidate will possess both excellent clinical and teaching skills. The School expects the successful candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, and ability to teach and develop online and traditional courses, participate in anesthesia simulation, advise DNP students and chair DNP projects, participate in committees, and other university activities.
