Assistant Professor of Strategic Management (Tenure Track)

The University of Montevallo (UM) invites nominations and applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Strategic Management, with a start date of August 2027. Candidates with a Ph.D. or DBA in Strategic Management from AACSB-accredited or similarly accredited institutions are preferred; however, doctoral candidates with ABD status will also be considered.

  • UM is Alabama's designated public liberal arts university, offering bachelor's, master's, and specialist-level programs with a focus on high-quality, innovative teaching and a student body of over 3,000.
  • The Stephens College of Business is AACSB-accredited and supports both undergraduate and MBA-level programs. The average class size is about 21 students, highlighting our emphasis on individualized learning.
