• Provides patient care in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology to newborns, children, and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Supervises medical students, residents, and advanced practice professionals in the clinical setting
• Participates in the education of medical students and residents
• Services the academic community through participations in institutional governance, such as committee work and other administrative duties
• Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complementary to the institutional mission
• Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
• Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
• Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine''s Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility

• Experience in teaching students and residents in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
• Emerging or established regional or national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher
• Board certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics

• M.D. or D.O. degree, or an equivalent medical degree
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics Residency Program
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program
• Texas medical license, or eligibility for licensure in Texas
