Job Summary:
The Department of Pediatrics, Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Psychologist (1.0 FTE/cFTE) at the Assistant Professor level to join the CCBD Wellness Team at Children's Hospital Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado.
This position focuses on the provision of evidence-based psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention for children, adolescents, and families affected by cancer and blood disorders across inpatient, outpatient, and survivorship settings. Psychology services are provided within a multidisciplinary psychosocial care model, in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, social work, child life, and other allied health professionals.
The Assistant Professor Psychologist will contribute to the clinical, teaching, and scholarly missions of CCBD. Scholarly activities are encouraged and may include clinical research, quality improvement, or participation in collaborative research initiatives, but are not required.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology
Completion of an APA-accredited psychology internship
Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology or closely related area
Eligible for licensure or licensed as a psychologist in the State of Colorado by start date
Clinical experience with pediatric populations
Condition of Employment:
Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:
A history of successful academic and scholarly activity related to the field of clinical psychology.
A history of interest and demonstrated success in clinical and scholarly activity in the field of pediatric oncology and blood disorders.
Demonstrated evidence-based treatment/intervention expertise with children with cancer and blood disorders.
Demonstrated teaching and training experience in pediatric psychology.
3 or more years'' experience working in a pediatric setting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation with medically complex pediatric patients
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
Commitment to family-centered, culturally responsive care
Ability to balance clinical responsibilities with teaching and scholarly activities

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
$110,000 to $120,000.
The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
