Job Summary
The Assistant Professor position in Carr School of Accountancy is a full-time tenure-track faculty position in the Sorrell College of Business. This position is responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in Accounting, engagement in scholarly activities, mentoring faculty, advising students, commitment to service to the University and community, and other duties as identified by the Director of the Carr School of Accountancy and the Dean of the Sorrell College of Business.

Minimum Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Accounting from an AACSB accredited university. (ABD within one year of completion will be considered).
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching.
- Demonstrated potential to perform high quality accounting research.
- Certified Public Accountant.
- Specialization in any accounting area will be considered.
