Job Summary The full-time tenure-track faculty position of Assistant Professor of Accounting for the Sorrell College of Business Carr School of Accountancy is responsible for, but are not limited to:

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting.
• Leadership in program development at the undergraduate and graduate level in Accounting.
• Engagement in scholarly activities.
• Mentoring faculty.
• Advising students.
• Commitment to service to the University and community.
• Other duties as identified by the Director of the School of Accountancy and Dean of the College of Business.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Accounting or a related field from an AACSB school is required.
• ABD candidates will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preference will be given to candidates with strong records of research and teaching.
• CPA and/or CMA certifications.
• Specialization in either audit or financial accounting.
