Assistant Project Engineer Manager

Role and Responsibilities

Collaborate with Foremen and Superintendents to ensure that work plans are tracked and analyzed to maximize efficiency and safetyEnsure quality objectives are being met for the projectMay supervise the work of other project resources and provide mentoring and coachingPrepare field material take-offsInitiate and prepare requisitions for the procurement of services, materials, and equipment necessary to support the project scheduleSchedule and coordinate the release of construction design documents in support of the construction scheduleCoordinate with subcontractors and project team to ensure quality control and safety programs are being followedAdditional responsibilities requested by Project Management team

Qualifications: Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or a related field of study required or industry experience of equivalent level10 years of Heavy Civil construction experience requiredDesign-build construction project experience is preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office suite5 years Highway construction project experience

Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

Must be able to work without supervisionMust be able to work in a team environmentMust be a self-starter
