The Assistant Project Manager supports the successful delivery of multifamily construction projects by assisting with budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and coordination between office and field teams. This role offers hands-on involvement in all phases of the project lifecycle while working closely with senior leadership to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Description
As the Assistant Project Manager, you will report to a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager, supporting the successful financial and operational delivery of multifamily construction projects.
- Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
- Support subcontractor procurement, bid leveling, and contract administration
- Manage Requests for Information, submittals, and change orders
- Coordinate closely with field teams on scheduling, sequencing, and logistics
- Track and update project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar tools
- Participate in client, subcontractor, and internal meetings with clear documentation
- Support project closeout, including punch list completion and turnover
Profile
For the Assistant Project Manager we are seeking:
- Experience in construction project coordination or assistant project management
- Exposure to multifamily or commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and project documentation
- Familiarity with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset
- Degree earned
