Description
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Assisting in managing ground‑up construction projects valued at $20M+
- Supporting project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls
- Coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams
- Tracking RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Monitoring site progress to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence
- Supporting close‑out activities including punch lists and turnover
- Utilising construction software platforms to maintain accurate reporting
Profile
A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Assistant Project Manager
- Experience supporting at least one ground‑up building project
- Background in multifamily, healthcare, education, or institutional builds
- Experience on projects valued at $20M or more
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of Procore and PlanGrid
