With more than 900 employees, we self-perform approximately 80% of site groundwork, including clearing, grading, utilities, drainage, concrete, structures, stone base, and asphalt paving.

About the Role

The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning and delivery of site-development and civil construction projects valued from $2 million to $25 million. Working with project managers, field teams, clients, and trade partners, this role helps coordinate schedules, resources, costs, contracts, quality, and safety from clearing through pavement markings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination across all phases of site-development work
• Track project costs, budgets, production, and other project controls
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and other resources
• Support project accounting, contract administration, documentation, and reporting
• Review plans and specifications and help maintain quality-control standards
• Communicate with project managers, field teams, clients, and trade partners to keep work progressing on schedule
• Help identify and resolve field, schedule, cost, and compliance issues
• Promote and maintain company safety requirements on every project

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree, preferably in engineering, construction management, construction, or a related field
• Ability to collaborate effectively on site-grading projects valued from $2 million to $25 million
• Understanding of site-development phases from clearing through pavement markings
• Strong organization, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel reliably throughout the region
• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Trimble Construction One, Vista, or similar construction-management and accounting software
