Assistant Project ManagerOur client is a full-service General Contractor and Construction Manager that has been serving the North Jersey market for over NUMBER years. Due to a growing project portfolio, they are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager who is looking to build a long-term career in construction management.Job DescriptionThe Assistant Project Manager will:Support Project Managers with the daily execution of public and commercial construction projectsAssist in maintaining project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking reportsCoordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationAssist with bid solicitation, subcontractor buyout, and procurement activitiesTrack permits, inspections, and regulatory requirementsBuild and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and ownersAttend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and follow-up action itemsSupport contract administration and compliance requirements for public projectsAssist with payment applications, invoice processing, and financial reportingMonitor project progress and help identify potential issues impacting schedule or budgetSupport Quality Assurance and Quality Control efforts throughout the project lifecycleAssist with project closeout, punch-list completion, and turnover documentationMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
