Assistant Project Manager - Commercial

Michael Page is hiring for a Chicago-based, full-service construction firm that delivers both interior and ground-up commercial projects, combining the expertise and resources of a large contractor with the agility and client-focused approach of a smaller organization.

Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing commercial construction projects.

Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including budgets, schedules, and reports.

Support procurement processes, including sourcing and managing materials and vendors.

Communicate project updates to stakeholders and address any concerns effectively.

Assist in evaluating project performance and recommend improvements for future projects.

A successful Assistant Project Manager - Commercial should have:

Experience with commercial construction projects, including coordination and management.

Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management tools.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
