We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial construction and renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout. This position will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients to keep projects organized, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
Assist Project Managers with commercial construction projects through all phases, including preconstruction, procurement, construction, and closeout.
Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, correspondence, and other project documentation.
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors regarding scopes, schedules, materials, and outstanding requirements.
Review drawings and specifications to identify conflicts, missing information, and potential project issues.
Help maintain project schedules and monitor progress against key milestones.
Participate in meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal project teams while tracking action items and follow-ups.
Assist with project cost tracking, commitments, invoices, change orders, and other financial documentation.
Visit active job sites to document progress, verify field conditions, and coordinate with field personnel.
Support punch list, final inspection, warranty, and project closeout activities.
Identify potential delays or issues and communicate them to the Project Manager.
Take on increasing responsibility as experience and project knowledge develop.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in commercial construction, project coordination, project engineering, or a related construction role.
Experience working for a general contractor on commercial construction, renovation, tenant improvement, or similar projects.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and project documentation.
Ability to effectively communicate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, Superintendents, and clients.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction experience will also be considered.
Commercial construction experience is required; residential-only experience will not be sufficient.
