Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Brooklyn
Our client is a premier luxury residential General Contractor known for delivering exceptional renovations across Brooklyn and NYC. Their portfolio includes brownstone restorations, townhouse gut renovations, luxury penthouse fit-outs, and custom residential interiors, earning them a reputation for craftsmanship, quality, and client satisfaction.
As an Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Brooklyn, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Project Managers throughout all project phases
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs
- Coordinating architects, designers, consultants, and subcontractors
- Assisting with procurement and contract administration
- Tracking project schedules and milestone completion
- Maintaining project documentation and reports
- Participating in client and project team meetings
- Supporting field teams with project coordination
- Assisting with quality control and project closeout activities
- Monitoring project progress and helping resolve issues
- Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- 2-5 years of construction experience in project management, project engineering, or coordination
- Experience with luxury residential renovations
- Exposure to penthouses, townhouses, brownstones, or custom homes
- Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project controls
- Strong understanding of high-end finishes and interior construction
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
