Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Queens
As an Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Queens, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Project Managers throughout all phases of luxury residential project delivery
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and project cost tracking
- Managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs
- Coordinating architects, interior designers, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors
- Assisting with procurement and contract administration
- Maintaining project schedules and milestone updates
- Supporting custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, metal, and specialty finish packages
- Tracking project documentation and reporting requirements
- Participating in homeowner and project team meetings
- Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
- Supporting field teams and Superintendents with project coordination
- Assisting with project closeout and turnover activities
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Coordination, or Assistant Project Management
- Experience with high-end residential interior renovations
- Exposure to penthouses, brownstones, duplexes, townhomes, luxury apartments, or custom homes
- Knowledge of custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, plaster, and specialty finishes
- Understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project controls
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction software
- Strong attention to detail and desire to grow within luxury residential construction
