Job Description
As an Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Queens, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Project Managers throughout the construction lifecycle
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs
- Coordinating with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and ownership teams
- Assisting with procurement and contract administration
- Tracking project schedules and milestone completion
- Preparing project reports and maintaining documentation
- Attending project meetings and distributing meeting minutes
- Supporting quality control and safety initiatives
- Monitoring project progress and identifying potential issues
- Assisting with project closeout and turnover activities
- Maintaining strong relationships with project stakeholders

The Successful Applicant
The successful Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Queens will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in construction project management or project coordination
- Experience working on commercial, multifamily, healthcare, or mixed-use projects preferred
- Strong understanding of construction documents and project processes
- Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project controls
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
