Our client is seeking an organized and motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join their growing team in Wayne, NJ. This individual will support Project Managers across multiple construction projects, assisting with project administration, client coordination, permitting, RFIs, submittals, and overall project execution from preconstruction through completion.

Description
- Project Management: Support Project Managers with the day-to-day management of active construction projects.
- Documentation: Assist with project software administration and project documentation.
- Schedule Management: Track project schedules, documentation, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and project stakeholders.
- Safety Compliance: Help maintain organized project records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Quality Control: Support multiple projects simultaneously, typically assisting on 1-3 projects depending on size and complexity.
Profile
- 2-3 years of construction industry experience in a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Construction Coordinator, or similar role.
- Experience within commercial construction, multifamily construction, general contracting, or a strong subcontractor environment.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-facing demeanor.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
