Job Description
As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll play a key role in project delivery and team success by:
- Project Planning & Documentation: Assist in defining project scope, preparing contracts, permits, and compliance records.
- Budget Management: Help create and manage project budgets while monitoring expenses.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to meet timelines efficiently.
- Scheduling: Assist in developing and adjusting project schedules to stay on track.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Manage subcontractor communication, contracts, and performance.
- Quality & Safety Oversight: Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Client Communication: Provide regular updates and address client inquiries professionally.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve project challenges.
- Documentation Management: Maintain organized records and assist in reporting project.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Assistant Project Manager - Custom Home Builder - Charleston should have the following qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager on residential or multifamily projects.
- Custom home & interior design experience highly preferred
- Education: BS in Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with construction software.
- Motivated: A strong drive to excel and deliver exceptional results.
