Assistant Project Manager - Custom Homes - Charleston

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of luxury custom home projects throughout the Charleston area. This role offers hands-on exposure to all phases of residential construction while working closely with experienced project leaders on high-quality, architecturally distinctive homes.

Description

• • Assist Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of luxury custom home projects.
  • Support project schedules, procurement activities, budgets, and documentation throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with homeowners, design professionals, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Track project progress and help resolve issues impacting schedule, quality, or budget.
  • Maintain project records, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and other construction documentation.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate updates with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure work aligns with design intent and quality standards.
  • Support project closeout activities and ensure a positive client experience from start to finish.
  • Contribute to a team environment focused on accountability, safety, innovation, and service excellence.

Profile

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience supporting residential or custom home construction projects.
• Background working on high-end residential, luxury home, or custom home builds.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Interest in delivering exceptional customer and homeowner experiences.
• Ability to work on projects within the Charleston, SC market.

Preferred Experience

• Experience collaborating with architects, interior designers, and residential construction teams.
• Exposure to project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and construction administration.
• Familiarity with luxury residential finishes and custom home building processes.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is advantageous.
