Description
The Project Engineer will report into the Project Manager and work closely with site leadership to support the successful delivery of construction projects from preconstruction through to closeout.
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of commercial construction projects across multiple phases
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure project compliance
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation workflows
- Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
- Support scheduling, cost tracking, and progress reporting activities
- Ensure health & safety compliance across all project stages
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to drive project success and client satisfaction
Profile
For the Project Engineer position we are seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Prior experience within commercial construction or a related environment
- Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and project lifecycles
- Experience supporting RFIs, submittals, and coordination of subcontractors
- Knowledge of construction software and Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
