We're seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support local construction projects in the Milwaukee area. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced Project Managers and field teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and operations
• Assist in developing and maintaining construction schedules, including short-term lookaheads
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to understand scope and timelines
• Track daily progress, production, and project milestones
• Help prepare reports on schedule updates and project status
• Attend site and coordination meetings with internal teams and subcontractors
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Track labor, materials, and equipment to support cost control efforts
• Update project tracking systems and databases with daily field information
• Help identify potential risks to schedule or budget and support mitigation planning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Strong interest in construction project management
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work on-site at local Milwaukee-area projects

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
