We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager. This exciting opportunity involves working on ground-up commercial construction projects, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our urban landscapes. The right candidate will have a strong background in construction, with a particular emphasis on projects exceeding $20M. You will be joining a team of experienced professionals, where your skills and expertise will be valued and your career growth will be supported.

Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for a broad range of tasks including, but not limited to:

1. Assisting the Project Manager in planning and execution of ground-up commercial construction projects.
2. Coordinating and supervising the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction, ensuring that the project gets completed on time and within budget.
3. Reviewing and understanding all project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and budgets.
4. Utilizing Procore and PlanGrid to manage project documentation and streamline communication across all project stakeholders.
5. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
6. Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design, project specifications, and safety protocols.
7. Managing and resolving any issues or problems that arise during construction.
8. Preparing and presenting project reports and updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial projects.
2. Proven experience with projects exceeding $20M.
3. Proficiency in Procore and PlanGrid or equivalent construction management software.
4. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
5. Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and procedures.
6. Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and challenges.
9. Ability to read and understand construction drawings, contracts, and specifications.
10. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
11. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various project sites.
