Support Project Managers with the day-to-day management of construction projects. Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking. Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams. Monitor project progress and help ensure milestones are achieved on schedule. Attend site visits and project meetings, documenting key actions and updates. Assist with procurement activities, contract administration, and material tracking. Support project closeout processes, including punch lists and turnover documentation. Maintain accurate project records and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
A successful Assistant Project Manager / Junior Project Manager should have: 1 to 5 years of experience in construction project management, project engineering, or project coordination. Experience working on commercial or residential construction projects. General Contractor experience is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and project coordination. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred. Ambitious, career-focused, and eager to develop into a Project Manager role.
