Description

• Assist Project Managers with the planning and administration of construction projects.
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project reports.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Assist with procurement and material tracking.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and project requirements.
• Support closeout activities, including punch lists and final documentation.

Profile

A successful Building and Construction Assistant Project Manager should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of construction project management experience, internships, or related industry experience.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with construction management software is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
