Assistant Project Manager - Light Industrial

The company is looking to add an Assistant Project Manager who wants to grow into a Project Manager role. This individual will support the successful delivery of warehouse and light industrial construction projects.

Our client is a growing general contractor focused on industrial and logistics developments throughout the Chicago area. The firm has built a reputation for delivering complex projects while maintaining strong client relationships.

Description

• Assist with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors
• Track project costs and assist with forecasting
• Support project meetings and client communications
• Help ensure successful project closeout

Profile

• 2+ years of construction experience
• Light industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or commercial experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with construction management software
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
