Impact Recruitment has partnered with a full-service engineering and surveying firm specializing in civil, structural engineering, municipal services and land surveying located in Sandy, UT. 

They are seeking an Assistant Project Manager (PE) that will support Project Managers in the day-to-day execution of projects within the team. This includes assisting with proposals, tracking project budgets and schedules, coordinating with clients and internal staff, and helping ensure deadlines are met. APM’s are involved in production support, communication with cities and agencies as needed, and assisting with invoicing and project documentation. In addition to project support, APM’s are developing foundational skills in project and staff management. They are learning how to effectively communicate with clients, manage workload priorities, and contribute to a productive team environment. This role is focused on building the technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills necessary to successfully transition into a Project Manager role.

Qualifications:
  • Team leadership
  • Skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to prepare engineering reports with the guidance of a project manager or senior individual.
Education & Experiences:
  • A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited college (ABET) is required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of civil engineering experience
  • PE License in Utah
