\nJob Overview:
\nWe are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing and coordinating construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a passion for project management in the construction industry.
\nDuties:
\n- Mange projects and scopes as assigned by PM or SPM
\n- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
\n- Monitor and work with owner's representative to communicate progress of project
\n- Prepare and maintain project documentation including preliminary estimates/budgets
\n- Select subcontractors to solicit bids and review subcontractor proposals
\n- Solicit and process submittal and shop drawings
\n- Maintain project documentation
\n- Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to safety regulations
\n- Monitor construction progress with Superintendent
\n- Investigate adverse situations and report to PM and/or SPM
\n- Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during construction
\n- Represent company in project meetings, when required
\n- Additional duties when assigned
\nExperience:
\n- B.S. or M.S. in Construction Management/Engineering/Architecture
\n- Proficiency in construction management software such as Microsoft Project, Procore and Bluebeam.
\n- Familiarity with blueprint reading, quantity take-offs and estimating is required
\n- Knowledge of project scheduling and time management
\n- Experience in construction management or related field
\n- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and independently on assigned projects
\n- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
