Assistant Property Manager - Affordable Housing

Are you an organized, customer-focused property management professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our team at a 200-unit elderly and disabled affordable housing community in Providence, RI.

This community includes layered Section 8 and Tax Credit programs, so we are looking for someone who understands the importance of accuracy, compliance, resident service, and staying on top of multiple priorities.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with the daily operations of a busy 200-unit elderly and disabled residential community, working closely with the Property Manager and site team.
• Support Section 8 and Tax Credit compliance, including recertifications, resident files, documentation, notices, and other required paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, vendors, and visitors while handling questions and concerns with patience and professionalism.
• Utilize RealPage OneSite for resident records, reporting, leasing, and property management functions.
• Help manage office traffic, phones, resident requests, work orders, collections, and other day-to-day administrative responsibilities.
• Stay organized and detail-oriented while juggling deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous multifamily or affordable housing experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience with Section 8 and/or Tax Credit communities.
• Experience with RealPage OneSite is a plus.
• The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, patient, and comfortable working with an elderly and disabled resident population. Bilingual Spanish skills are a strong plus.
