    Assistant Property Manager

    Assistant Property Manager – Apartment Community

    Location:  Broadway, Galveston

    We are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This position supports the Property Manager in the daily operations of a multifamily apartment community while providing exceptional service to residents and prospective tenants.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the property.
    • Support leasing activities, including tours, applications, and lease renewals.
    • Handle resident inquiries and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Assist with rent collection, delinquency management, and financial reporting.
    • Maintain resident files and ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing regulations.
    • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders.
    • Prepare reports, process paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
    • Support occupancy goals and resident retention initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in property management, leasing, or a related field preferred.
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework is a plus.
