LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of residential properties. This individual will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure smooth property operations, maintain tenant satisfaction, and support financial and administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within property management.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day property operations, including tenant communications, administrative support, and maintenance coordination
  • Respond to tenant inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring high levels of resident satisfaction
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved efficiently
  • Maintain accurate tenant, lease, and property records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Support rent collection efforts, including tracking payments, following up on delinquencies, and assisting with arrears management
  • Assist with lease administration, including renewals, documentation, and tenant onboarding
  • Conduct property inspections and support compliance with building standards and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff to support property needs
  • Prepare notices, correspondence, and reports as needed
  • Support the Property Manager with budgeting, reporting, and general operational tasks

Qualifications:

  • 2+ year of experience in property management, real estate, or a related administrative role preferred
  • Experience with affordable or low-income housing (LIHTC, Section 8, or similar programs) is a plus
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi) preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Hours:

  • 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Monday through Friday
