They own, manage, and lease approximately 2 million square feet of commercial real estate in the Galleria/Uptown Houston market. Position Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the management of a portfolio of commercial properties. This individual will assist the Property Manager with the full spectrum of property management responsibilities, including building operations, tenant relations, financial administration, facility maintenance, lease administration, budgeting, and project management.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of commercial property management experience, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and ownership groups. This role offers significant exposure to all facets of commercial real estate management and provides outstanding growth potential.

 Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the day-to-day management and operations of a commercial property portfolio, ensuring exceptional service for tenants, vendors, and visitors.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between tenants, vendors, contractors, and ownership while fostering positive relationships and responding to requests in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, building communications, meetings, special events, and other tenant-related activities.
  • Conduct property inspections and assist with maintaining building safety, operational efficiency, and overall property appearance.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, bid proposals, certificates of insurance, permits, and third-party service providers.
  • Support oversight of building maintenance and operational services, including janitorial, landscaping, parking, pest control, waste management, elevator operations, and other facility-related functions.
  • Assist with lease administration, tenant correspondence, property records management, and maintaining accurate lease and operational documentation.
  • Support financial and accounting functions including invoice processing, budget preparation, financial reporting, expense tracking, lease analysis, accounts receivable collections, and accounts payable review.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for management, tenant meetings, and client communications.
  • Coordinate administrative projects, business initiatives, and team events while providing general support to the Property Management team.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • 2-3+ years of commercial property management experience required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • No visible tattoos or facial piercings
  • Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Yardi, MRI, AMSI, or similar property management software is a plus
