LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Assistant Property Manager for one of our clients located in Walnut Creek, California. This position will be in-office every day and will report to the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, hospitality driven professional with experience supporting resident accounts, property operations, and administrative functions within a property management environment.
Responsibilities:
Support resident accounts, including rent collections, payment plans, delinquency follow up, and documentation
Assist with delinquency communications, 3 day notices, payment agreements, and eviction tracking in compliance with regulations
Review, approve, and reconcile vendor invoices; track missing invoices and resolve discrepancies
Post resident and subsidy payments accurately and assist with accounts receivable processes
Coordinate with utility billing providers, support pre-bill reviews, and help resolve billing issue
Process rental applications, notices to vacate, lease renewals, and move out documentation
Maintain accurate resident files, compliance documentation, and operational reports
Qualifications:
Previous experience in property management, leasing, or real estate administration
Strong understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and resident billing processes
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Professional communication skills with residents, vendors, and internal teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Proficiency with property management software (Entrata a plus)
Working knowledge of Google Workspace and basic accounting or billing systems
Experience: 1-3+ years of experience in property management, leasing, or a related administrative role
