Are you passionate about film, television, and pop culture, with a sharp eye for detail and a desire to launch a long-term career in entertainment PR?

The Hiring Advisors is partnering with a premier, highly respected entertainment public relations agency in the LA area to find a high-energy, proactive Publicist Assistant. This team represents some of the world's most influential filmmakers, actors, and production companies in Hollywood.

If you have a solution-oriented mindset, thrive under breaking deadlines, and want hands-on mentorship from veteran entertainment publicists, this is the perfect seat to build your foundation.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Executive & Client Administration: Support senior publicists with day-to-day operations—managing complex schedules, heavy calendar coordination, call logs, expense reports, and travel logistics.
    • Press & Red Carpet Logistics: Coordinate client schedules and logistics for high-profile press junkets, TV/radio interviews, premieres, red carpet appearances, and photo shoots.
    • Media Monitoring & Clipping: Monitor print, digital, and broadcast media daily; compile clipping reports and service breaking coverage directly to talent and executive teams.
    • Client Assets & Materials: Create and update digital press kits, client bios, media lists, and internal memos.
    • Cross-Coast Coordination: Serve as a key administrative bridge between LA team members, NY counterparts, and client teams.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Industry Experience: 1+ years of full-time administrative experience within entertainment, film, television, talent agencies, studios, or media/PR agencies.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field preferred.
    • High Discretion: Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding high-profile client information, schedules, and sensitive news.
    • Composure Under Pressure: Outstanding verbal/written communication skills and a calm, "can-do" attitude in a fast-paced environment.
    • Tech & Organizational Savvy: Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces without dropping the ball.
    • Work Arrangement: Must be based in the Los Angeles area and able to work on-site Monday through Friday in Sherman Oaks, CA.

    Why Apply?

    • Direct Mentorship: Learn the ins and outs of talent and film PR directly from industry-leading publicists.
    • Long-Term Growth: This position offers clear path potential for candidates looking to build a multi-year foundation and grow from within the agency.
    • Dynamic Work: No two days are the same—work directly on campaigns powering premier entertainment releases and top-tier Hollywood talent.
