Minimum age of 16. Must possess a valid Class "C" drivers license from NC. Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.

Assists with the daily operations of an assigned recreation center to include programming, special events, supervising facilities and daily cleaning/maintenance of the facility. Experience working in a recreation center or setting and working with diverse populations. The preferred applicant will have an Associates Degree in Recreation or a related field. Must be available to work a varied schedule throughout the week with primary duty hours being worked in the afternoons and evenings.

Major Duties Assists with the daily operations of the recreation department and facilities. Supervising facility. Daily cleaning/maintenance. Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Qualifications Experience working in a recreation center or setting. Experience working with diverse populations.

An employee in this position will have successfully passed a "Functional Prework Screen" administered by a professional and impartial third party specialist.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work is performed in an office and at recreational facilities.
