Position Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager

Salary: $65,000 to $70,000

Job Summary

Join our team at Miami Lakes Hotel and help create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. We are seeking a passionate, service-driven Assistant Restaurant Manager who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys developing teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering outstanding guest satisfaction.

In this leadership role, you will partner with the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, coach and develop team members, manage inventory and cost controls, and support catering and special events. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to advance their management career with a respected organization.

What You'll Do

• Assist in managing all restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and service standards.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop hourly team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Support the implementation of innovative culinary and marketing initiatives.
• Manage food, beverage, and supply ordering while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Monitor labor, food, and beverage costs to support financial goals.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Assist with catering events, special functions, and VIP guest experiences.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and high-performance team culture.
• Support leadership with operational reporting and financial responsibilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of restaurant, hotel, food service, or hospitality leadership experience.
• Proven experience supervising, coaching, and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and customer service excellence.
• Experience with inventory management and cost controls preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Associate degree in Hospitality, Business, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.
