About the Role:
The Happy Viking Sports Pub and Eatery in Yuba City, CA is looking for an energetic and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our crew! Responsibilities:

• Support the General Manager in daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations
• Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences and resolve customer complaints promptly
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage vendor relationships
• Assist with scheduling, labor management, and staff training
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service compliance standards
• Drive sales performance and assist in meeting revenue and cost targets

Requirements:

• 2+ years of restaurant or bar management experience, preferably in a sports bar or casual dining environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Solid knowledge of food and beverage operations, including bar management
• Experience with POS systems, scheduling software, and inventory management
• Valid California Food Handler's Card and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest relations skills
