Assistant Site Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join our team. You will support day‑to‑day contract operations by supervising personnel, coordinating workflow, and ensuring resources are used effectively. You will reinforce quality, cost control, and communication standards while providing continuity of leadership in the Site Manager’s absence. This is an onsite position in Barstow, CA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operational Support & Contract Management: Assists in planning and managing contract activities to ensure professional execution and compliance with performance expectations.
• Team Supervision & Development: Provides coaching and mentoring to supervisors and leads, fostering strong performance and effective scheduling.
• Resource & Workflow Coordination: Ensures work is properly organized and resourced to maximize efficiency and prevent wasteful or ineffective methods.
• Quality Assurance & Cost Efficiency: Implements and monitors quality controls and cost‑saving measures to maintain service standards at fair and reasonable costs.
• Reporting & Communication: Delivers accurate, timely reporting and demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills for operational clarity.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Distribution Management -OR- a minimum of ten (7) years of management experience in distribution operations of similar size and complexity.
• A minimum of three (2) years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past five years.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
• Relevant certifications

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Preference given to candidates with a current clearance.
