The Assistant Spray Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, monitoring, and repairing of irrigation systems on the golf course, and landscaped areas meeting company and industry standards for quality and efficiency. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced atmosphere and show a strong sense of urgency, additionally a strong desire to learn. Must have a positive attitude and work as a team player within the staff. Pebble Beach Company is a business that stays open seven days a week, so you may be scheduled to work holidays and weekends.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work and train alongside the Spray Technician
- Monitor, maintain and operate all spray equipment.
- Maintain and organize golf course chemical storage shed, keep free of spills, stains, trash and clutter.
- Assist the Spray Technician with the application of fertilizers and pesticides to all surfaces.
- Learn and implement accurate calibration of granular and foliar applications.
- Attention to detail and organization.
- Develop knowledge of computerized spraying systems and GPS.
- Understand and practice safety in all work circumstances.
- Stay up to date with industry wide pesticide application BMP's.
- Obtain QAL/QAC within 1 year of hiring.
- Monitor inventories.
- Record all applications per DPR requirements.
- Perform required cyclical pesticide training and fit tests.
Required Skills:
- Basic computer skills.
- Physical strength, stamina and agility.
- Ability to perform the duties of a Greenkeeper 3.
- Proficient working knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools and equipment.
- Consistent ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment under the supervision of a supervisor.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions with a consistent track record of successful reviews.
- Ability to work outdoors at all times.
- Valid California driver's license with 2 points or less.
Desired Skills:
- Previous golf course experience preferred.
- Familiarity with golf terminology.
