This is more than store leadership, it's an opportunity to empower staff, enhance customer journeys, and uphold our community standards.Hourly Pay$24.50 hourly up to $80,000 annuallyBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, life insurance, & in-store discountsWhat You'll DoLead daily operations: Assist with store and restaurant workflows; follow up on cashier settlements, promotions, and shift coverageSupport & develop staff: Coordinate training, manage schedules, coach team members, and model positive leadershipDeliver customer excellence: Greet and assist customers, handle inquiries or complaints, and engage on the sales floorTrack performance: Review of daily sales and labor metrics; relay key insights from Manager's reports to relevant teamsEnsure store standards: Conduct facility checks, report maintenance issues, handle emergencies, and uphold safety/security protocolsEnhance merchandising: Create and support in-store displays, help execute product placement strategies to meet sales objectivesTake initiative: Step into staff roles as needed, whether opening, closing, or covering breaks and shiftsWhat You BringExperience & SkillsPrior experience as an Assistant Store Manager, department manager, or equivalent roleStrong communication skills both verbal and written; proficient in EnglishComputer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook); comfortable with basic mathLeadership & AbilitiesDemonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold team accountableCustomer-service mindset, always approachable and dependableReady to cover staff breaks, field vendor communications, and jump into operational tasksPhysical RequirementsFrequent lifting of grocery/bulk items (up to 50 lbs.), repeated up to 100 times/dayPush/pull carts or electric pallet jacks; stand, walk, bend, and twist oftenSchedule RequirementsFlexible availability across various shifts and locations including weekends and eveningsWhy Join Mother's MarketYou'll be part of a mission-driven company that values wellness, sustainability, and outstanding customer service.
