Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in leading daily retail operations, driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer service, coaching and developing team members, and ensuring efficient store operations. The role helps maintain merchandising standards, improve store performance, and create an outstanding shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Store Manager in managing daily store operations.
Lead, motivate, and coach retail team members to achieve sales and service goals.
Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
Drive sales performance through planning, execution, and business analysis.
Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and operational efficiency.
Support merchandising, visual presentation, and inventory standards.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members.
Set performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback.
Maintain efficient store processes and operational excellence.
Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives.
Perform additional duties as needed to support store operations.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
Minimum of 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
Experience with merchandising and retail visual presentation.
Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to analyze reports and identify business opportunities.
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
