The Assistant Store Manager supports the store manager in overseeing sales, operations, asset protection, and human resources to ensure a positive customer experience and profitability.
- Prepares schedules, manages payroll, and supervises staff involved in sales, inventory, and customer service.
- Promotes excellent customer service, maintains store appearance, and trains associates in visual merchandising.
- Monitors sales performance, performs financial activities, and ensures operational policies are followed.
- Assists with hiring, coaching, and evaluating staff, and maintains compliance with laws and loss prevention policies.
- Supports store maintenance and safety, and performs other duties as needed.
Qualifications include a high school diploma, retail management experience, strong communication skills, flexibility, and ability to travel. The role offers a wage range of $19.00 to $23.75 per hour. The employer is an equal opportunity employer.
