We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager - Perfume Store to join our retail team. In this pivotal role, you will lead daily store operations, motivate and manage staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales growth. Duties:
Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
Lead, supervise, and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential.
Handle purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations to streamline transactions.
Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Implement effective scheduling, shift management, and cash handling procedures to maintain store productivity.
Monitor sales performance, prepare reports on sales metrics, budgeting, and operational activities to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in retail store management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry.
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated supervisory experience in managing sales teams.
Excellent communication skills; bilingual is a plus for engaging diverse customer bases (English/Spanish).
Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping principles.
Skilled in negotiation, employee recruitment, interviewing, and training & development processes.
Sound understanding of retail math including pricing strategies, sales management, and budgeting.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Customer service-oriented mindset with phone etiquette proficiency and a professional appearance.
