Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Off Mondays & Tuesdays)

Pay: Hourly Rate $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team at our Forest Home location. In this role, you will partner directly with company management and ownership to drive daily operational excellence, boost drive-thru throughput, elevate customer experiences, and maintain high standards of store efficiency and cleanliness.

You are applying to work with an independent franchisee of Scooter's Coffee. If hired, the franchisee will be your only employer and sets all terms of employment, wages, and benefits.

Schedule & Shift Details

• Standard Work Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday
• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Days Off: Monday and Tuesday

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Delegation: Supervise shift operations, direct barista workflows, and proactively delegate daily cleaning, prep, and restocking tasks to ensure zero downtime.
• Speed & Throughput: Quarterback the team during rush periods to decrease drive-thru times while maintaining strict drink quality and recipe consistency.
• Customer Experience: Model world-class customer service, resolve customer feedback or complaints promptly and professionally, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied.
• Cash & Administrative Controls: Accurately count registers, reconcile daily sales, prepare bank cash deposits, and complete/review daily shift logs.
• Inventory & Cost Management: Assist with weekly stock counts, receiving orders, and implementing portion/prep controls to minimize product waste.
• Store Standards & Compliance: Enforce food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness guidelines across all stations and equipment.
• Reporting: Communicate directly with ownership and company management regarding shift performance, store needs, and operational updates.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead in a drive-thru, QSR, or fast-paced retail food/beverage environment.
• Must be reliably available to work the required schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Proven ability to lead by example, motivate a team, and maintain composure during high-volume periods.
• Strong organizational skills and experience delegating tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with cash handling, cash drops, and basic shift reporting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35–50 lbs (milk crates, syrup cases, ice).

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Quick service & fast food restaurant: 1 year (Preferred)
• Management: 1 year (Preferred)
